Oversee daily dispatch, route planning, and turnaround timing for farm trucks, commercial transport haulers, and field support equipment to maximize efficiency.
Track vehicle maintenance schedules, safety inspections, and repair logs to keep haulage equipment operational and compliant.
Ensure full compliance with provincial transport regulations, axle weight limits, commercial trucking safety protocols, and grain handling guidelines.
Job Description
Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in agricultural logistics, dispatch, grain elevation, or commercial freight operations.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Prairie grain handling systems, commercial trucking regulations (axle weights, road bans), and shipping documentation requirements.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities, especially under high-pressure, fast-paced harvest conditions.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for managing driver schedules and coordinating with grain buyers.
Software Tools: Google Drive, MS Office (Excel), WhatsApp, and digital scale platforms.
Licensing: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 is an asset, though not required).
Education/Background: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or equivalent practical agricultural logistics experience.
