Seed Source’s Story

We are a family- based independent agriculture retail company that serves pure, safe and quality seed to food production for the last 25 years

Our third generation, locally grown family farm based offers two avenues of products, pedigree seed and food production.

 
Pedigree Seed:

We supply pure, quality and local advice of how seed varieties perform in Saskatchewan. With our family farm, we can guarantee pure and quality pedigree seed to farmers across Canada. We offer quality advice to what seed variety will perform the best in your area. Our farmer knowledge can provide what varieties are more prefer to different growing conditions to help the farmer’s bottom-line. Food Production:

With our background in pure, quality seed production has provided the opportunity to grow food ingredients; which is directly delivered to processors for milling, malting and pet food. We add extra steps to show traceability and third party in field inspectors quality test to ensure our product is safe to be served at your table. Our protocols prove that we can produce 99% pure product at is free of allergens and or dietary needs. Since implementing these protocols we specialize in conventionally and organically grown:

We are located north east area of Saskatchewan, Canada, on highway 35; 48 km south of Tisdale or 10 km west of Archerwill. Seed Source and its owners are members of the Canadian Seed Growers Association (CSGA) and Canadian Seed Trade Association (CSTA). Our seed conditioning facility is regulated and licensed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The company is an accredited seed establishment which means it is registered as an approved conditioning and bulk storage facility with two licensed operators and two accredited graders on staff under Canadian Seed Institute (CSI). Seed Source facilitates, contracts, and processes identity preserved crops grown in Saskatchewan; marketed through Canada and the United States.
