Job Description
Data Modeling & Advanced Spreadsheet Analysis: Build, maintain, and automate complex Excel spreadsheets, financial models, and operational dashboards to track performance across all business units.
Capital Project & Financial ROI Assessment: Perform comprehensive cost-benefit and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses for agricultural building projects, facility upgrades, and business expansion plans.
Equipment Fleet & Asset Cost Analysis:Track and evaluate machinery data to identify highest-cost equipment, repair trends, fuel burn, and idle time. Run comparative efficiency models to determine if equipment upgrades deliver real return through lower maintenance and increased field throughput.
Labor & Departmental Efficiency Tracking: Identify specific tasks or processes taking longer than planned and present data-backed solutions to improve crew productivity.
Executive Reporting & Data Presentation: Translate complex data and financial models into clean visual reports, slide decks, and executive summaries for management and department leads
What is Needed
Advanced Excel skills have a genuine passion for organizing messy data into clean, structured insights.
Proven ability to evaluate financial data, labor metrics, and capital equipment costs to answer “why” and “what’s next.”
Excellent skills in converting numbers into visual charts/graphs and presenting clear recommendations to leadership.
Experience: 2–4+ years in business analysis, financial analysis, agricultural data management, operations research, or a related quantitative role.
High proficiency with MS Excel (expert level), MS PowerPoint, and Google Drive/Workspace.
Education/Background: Degree or Diploma in Agribusiness, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or Business Administration.
